Directly southwest of downtown, out highway 40, lies Bellevue, a farming town turned residential hot-spot thanks in part to the appearance of a number of commercial shopping centers sprouting up during the past two decades. Like many of Nashville’s outer limits, you’ll find a large variety of homes in a number of price ranges, from the multi-million dollar estates along Highway 100 to the more affordable homes in the area’s newer subdivisions.

If you’re a nature lover, you’ll feel right at home in Bellevue as the area backs right up to Nashville’s largest park system, the 2,600 acre Percy and Edwin Warner parks. Bellevue also offers easy access to the Harpeth river, one of the area’s best loved spots for canoeing, kayaking, and swimming.
